The signs used on Hume Street are 'No Motor Vehicles' signs yet the plates below the signs and the prohibited turn signs say 'No vehicles except for taxis'. Is cycling allowed, and if not why not?

Hume Street in Clydebank has been closed where it passes under a low bridge. No indication that cycling through the line of bollards is not allowed.

A single-sided sign for the routes available across the Grange Burn, but a low kerb rather than a proper dropped kerb at the end of the path. I wouldn't want to bump the bike over this when it is loaded with shopping!
