So @WhittlesfordPC third "traffic calming" measure has no attempt at cycle safety lane. What a joke. If it weren't an accident trap. @CambsCC @camcycle @Chisholm4Trail https://t.co/4K23cnoDry

A mobile shop van parked on a footway buildout rather than using an empty parking space nearer the static shops. The bus stop is only served by the once-a-day service 709. This section of road used to have a cycle lane that followed t ... [more]

Milnpark Street - no through route to Cornwall Street, and no vehicular access to Milnpark Gardens either. No attempt to cater for cycling. As for those road markings in the foreground - they worked well!

A new approach path to the M8 motorway underpass at the end of Craigton Road, arranged to dissuade obstructive parking, although this doesn't always work (see #102730).

The Broomhouse cycle lane goes over a flattened build-out, then becomes a painted door-zone cycle lane.

An abrupt ending to the Hamilton Road cycle track, at a build-out. Maybe this is still to be dealt with.

New pinch-point on Milngavie Road at Hillfoot station.

New widened footway reduces width of road, on Byres Road outside Hillhead Subway Station. Bin lorry parked on bus stop. The cyclist decided to go around on the footway rather than overtake on the road.

Wide build outs where this very wide section of coastal road has been severely narrowed to accommodate a car storage area. The shared use cycleway sign at right pleads for cyclists to slow down and give way, see #36318.

What a shame that a cyclist by pass was not created in this build-out.
