Start of repainted narrow door-zone cycle lane in Whitefield Road.

The cycle lanes on Broomfield Road are almost invisible now.

Two-way pop-up cycle lane on Royston Road. Each build-out across the cycle lane on the hill has attracted accumulations of mud and other debris. Unlike the bus boarders, there was no indication of priority for pedestrians crossing the cycle … [more]

The pop-up cycle lane leads straight into a build-out for a toucan crossing. No ramp has been provided and the railings remain in place, unlike the other side.

Marmora Road build out at junction with Suez Road. There is a dropped kerb within the buildout.

Mock-up of a idea to improve access to the footway cycle parking. Motor vehicles often park right up or overhang the buildout and this creates problems of access to our front door as these other photos show: #6501 and #106944. The ramp … [more]

Hyde Park Road, Leeds

Whoever designed this does not cycle! The cycle lane being used as a car park goes is obstructed by a kerb at the toucan crossing over to Morrison's supermarket and retail park.

So @WhittlesfordPC third "traffic calming" measure has no attempt at cycle safety lane. What a joke. If it weren't an accident trap. @CambsCC @camcycle @Chisholm4Trail https://t.co/4K23cnoDry

A cycle lane suddenly appears on North Station Road, approaching another roundabout, just when cyclists need to be positioning themselves further to the right unless they happen to be turning left.

An abrupt ending to the Hamilton Road cycle track, at a build-out. Maybe this is still to be dealt with.

The central cycle lane heads through the No Entry signs before turning onto the footway. Would it not have been better to move the Give Way line back and allow cyclists onto the footway with the protection of the buildout rather than … [more]

New cycle access to York station from the south - build-out between car parking spaces.

Wide build outs where this very wide section of coastal road has been severely narrowed to accommodate a car storage area. The shared use cycleway sign at right pleads for cyclists to slow down and give way, see #36318.
