"You're parking up the wrong tree" - well so were the developers of CB1 when they failed to provide adequate visible cycle parking for this area.

Irony that is probably lost on the management of CB1 development - a poster 'advising' cyclists to use the (rather distant from here) Cyclepoint - and in the background a 'mobile patrol' vehicle parked on the pedestrian area.

No ball games notice and anti-skateboard lugs on the wall top.

Path alongside new CB1 park - not really wide enough for cycling.

A new park in CB1 - the track to the right is far narrower in reality, and not really wide enough for cycling.

New access to the CB1 development - not very wide and with no visible cycle facilities.

See clip at http://youtu.be/hL1KY0fGrMk I set off as the lights change only to catch the truck pulling out a little bit later. Not exactly what CB1 Development advertising hoardings have ben promoting.
