Electric Dragon Cycles, LL21 0NT (van seen in Corwen)
Just another NHS clinic without any cycle parking
Link to the new steam railway station, Corwen
CTC winged wheel on former bike repair shop, Corwen (now - the horror! - a hipster barber shop)
Bike at this steam railway station, preserved in period style.
There really should be an off-road route alongside the A5 (unusually quiet here) - there are too many twigs and branches on the footway to use it as it is.
Cycle parking (sort of) at the new Corwen Museum
Cut-through to bus and rail stations, Corwen
Not sure what this is about, but being a rebel I used the cycle bypass to the left anyway.
Sudden end of the new shared-use path beside 'improved' section of the A5. It's not much further to the A494 junction, couldn't they at least have gone that far?
Cyclists have to cross this fast new section of the A5 to stay on the shared-use footway a little longer.
Cycleway on the old A5 rejoining the original route
Cycle route on the former A5 where a new bridge has been built just to the left.
Cycle route to the right on the former A5 where a new bridge has been built just to the right
Cycle route on the old A5 where a new road has been built to the north at the Rhug Estate farm.
Much better provision for dogs than for cyclists (no parking) at the Rhug Farm shop.
Shared-use link to the old A5 where a new road has been built just north at the Rhug Estate farm.
Shared-use footway by the A5 from Corwen (apart from the longish Dee bridge) to Rhug
Generous cycle parking provision at the Rug Chapel, Corwen
Buses Only road for a few buses per hour to the Corwen interchange - surely cycling could be permitted too?
