No crossing from the exit from Robroyston Park to the shared footway on the east side of Robroyston Park. The footway on the near side is not shared-use.

The turn into Kingsway at another roundabout. There's no connection between this cycle route and NCN756 at the opposite side of this roundabout.

The path from the Westquarter Glen meets up with New Hallglen Road. The nearest sign for the HArTT cycle route is at #102843.

While the John Muir Way signs give correct direction information, the HArTT cycle route signs tell people to cycle over a continuous crash barrier and down a steep embankment. The signs haven't been twisted around - they are bolted together … [more]

The shared-use footway alongside Inchyra Road. I'm sure there is room for the mobile phone mast to have been positioned further back and out of the way of the cycleway.

The motorway surface would never have been left like this, so why the core path and cycling route?

Fences ✅ Crash barriers ✅ Surface ❌ Unless you like cycling on the A89 dual carriageway, this is one of the few options for getting around Baillieston Interchange and on to Bargeddie.

The A6091 crash barrier design makes no concession to the existence of the path.

On the right of the crash barrier the A89 dual carriageway and its single footway, to the left the currently shut path beneath the bridges southwards. Off to the left by the fence, the path to Rhindmuir Road.

I'm not sure whether you are allowed to cycle on this or not, but it leads to some toucan crossings and the path to Sighthill, and now has a blue line along one side. Also, an interesting use for a crash barrier!
