"Cyclists Rejoin Carriageway" but no dropped kerb to enable that. Pathetic!

Typical nonsense markings in South Lanarkshire, where it appears cyclists are meant to cross from the footway of Glasgow Road (off to the right) onto the footway in the foreground, then immediately leave it for the on-road cycle lane. No he ... [more]

Route (74) crossing Cypress Avenue. I guess the 'Cyclists Rejoin Carriageway' sign should be facing the other way.

Cyclists on the shared footway are directed down a side street. Hamilton is still 3 miles away (see #89452 and #65152).

So I think you are meant to just cycle over the footway to get to the cycle lane, but watch that kerb! (See also #88923)

NCN 74 on widened path approaching Wilkie Road

NCN 74 at Wilkie Road, approaching junction with Bellshill Road. The cycle route goes onto the path straight on. The "Cyclists Rejoin Carriageway" sign is facing the wrong way.

Junction of National Cycle Network routes 74 and 75 in Uddingston. Signs do not mention route 75 straight on to Uddingston town centre and Glasgow. Barrier has been removed so cyclists can join carriageway directly.
