A sign for route 8 tells people on bikes to dismount and use the pedestrian crossing. There is plenty of room to provide a proper cycleway.

A path under the railway line at Edinburgh Park station. There isn't really any reason why the steps connecting the path to the station couldn't have a ramp, removing the need for the detour via Lochside Crescent.

The tramway cycle path shares a flyover with the actual tramway. If only this happened at the road crossings further west! It would have been even better if they'd not mounted the lighting columns within the width of the path.

The 'bus/taxi/cycle only' signs have been painted out and replaced with 'No Entry except local buses'. Why?
