Upper Newmarket Street is restricted for motor vehicles to loading and local bus services.

As part of the bus priority, buses are allowed to turn right (into the bus station) from the left-hand lane, but the traffic signals all along the Fastlink route do not seem to change with the approach of buses.

Unnecessarily fussy arrangement for entrance to bus and cycle only road. Why not use 'No Entry except local buses and cycles' instead of this traffic island?
