As the road closure between Cotland Drive and Muirhead Avenue has been nicely placed where the HArTT cycle path passes through, it is a bit disappointing to see this 'give way' and lack of continuity on the cycle path.

A fairly new cycle link on Hopehill Road, including some new green space created by shortening the former carriageway on this side of the closure.

Obstructive car and van parking on Striven Gardens.

I thought I could get through on the left at Striven Gardens, but see #108225.

An improvement at last at Doune Quadrant and Doune Gardens. Not perfect, but at least usable on a standard bike.

This track runs parallel to Kingsway and leads through to the Whitemoss Recreation Area and roundabout. A through route for cycling, but not driving.

The connection from Barr Terrace to NCN756 on West Mains Road is pedestrian only.

Through motor traffic has been removed from Hume Street by a road closure by bollards next to the low bridge. However the Chalmers Street side of Hume Street has been turned into a taxi storage area with conflicting signage and road mark ... [more]

The sign says 'No Motor Vehicles' but no provision for cycling through this road closure on Braidfield Road to connect with the Kilbowie Roundabout cycleway.

A road closure with bollards and dropped kerbs on Old Dalnottar Road.

This type of infra is excellent but will be wasted money unless protective measures are included too. @GlasgowCC @collin_little @GoBikeGlasgow https://t.co/QRSaqPbHhQ

@GoBikeGlasgow constant parking in front of the cycle path at bottom of Corrour Road in Newlands. Happening everyday. Double yellow lines and cycle path paint worn away https://t.co/ubCvvYCEfB

Filtered permeability on Summerford Road.

The road does not extend as far as the flats in Lauderdale Gardens, making room for some grass and trees. But no dropped kerbs at either end of the path to assist with cycling through the area.

Filtered permeability in Sydenham Lane.

Cycle parking outside the sports centre in Yoker. It would be better with dropped kerbs to allow cycling through the road closure.

Permeability for pedestrians only. Although there is a sort of ramp up to the kerb on this side, on the other side it is just a high kerb (see #48702).

Bollards at the end of Rhindmuir Road, at the start of the path to Coatbridge Road.

The path joins the car park without a dropped kerb for cyclists to rejoin the carriageway. All that matters seems to be car parking.

No dropped kerb for access to path network at Blackburn Street.

One road exits to Paisley Road West, the one opposite only has pedestrian access. A missed opportunity to improve cycle permeability for local journeys. 20mph zones only on side streets in Glasgow.

No access for cycles at road closure between Milnpark Gardens and Milnpark Street. Only pedestrians can go between the two streets. A gully installed the wrong way around creating an unnecessary hazard for cycles.

No access for cycles at road closure between Milnpark Street and Milnpark Gardens. Must enter via Paisley Road West along with all the other vehicular traffic.

Milnpark Street - no through route to Cornwall Street, and no vehicular access to Milnpark Gardens either. No attempt to cater for cycling. As for those road markings in the foreground - they worked well!

The road closure in Ashley Street has a sort of hump to facilitate cycling, and some parking stands.

A new dropped kerb at Braid Square, for access to the path to the Garscube Road footbridge.

Good filtered permeability in parts of the new Richmond Gate housing development, but wouldn't it have been better to provide a raised crossing (as at nearby #95369) for this path between the park and the houses?

The cycle track linking Kingarth Street with Victoria Road, right at the bus stop.

There is a cycle track linking Kingarth Street with Victoria Road, but it's right at the bus stop. Hopefully this will be sorted by the South City Way works.

A cycle track with right angled corners links between Nithsdale Road and the Pollokshaws Road toucan crossing, around the bins.

A dropped kerb in the diagonal road closure on Reidvale Street and Sword Street. Not signed for cycling, but unlikely to cause a problem. Interestingly, the dropped kerb on the far side appears to be newer than on this side.

Road closure on Whitevale Street, with no exemption for cycles. A useful street for crossing Dennistoun.

FAO @Darkerside @GoBikeGlasgow @isersmalone New Balvicar St cycle gate. https://t.co/hsgCQah4xm [A site where car parking regularly blocked the cycle track entrance before e.g. #93805.]

The Doune Quadrant/Doune Gardens problem is still very much there.

Texting, engine running, not aware of those around her...

#GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 Striven Gardens, west end. Unique filtering. Also unique in that it isn't blocked by a parked car like normal. https://t.co/ZTSmnVoTHF

The cycle track linking Albert Road and Victoria Road has been blocked by a cycle hire station. Hopefully this will be sorted during the South City Way work.

Fern Lane is well surfaced (for a back lane) and has a single bollard to prevent through motor traffic, making it a useful alternative to the busy Crow Road..

Replacement for Checkpoint Shelley (see #26285).

The Silverburn to Pollokshaws & Newlands cycle route crosses the zebra crossing across Auldhouse Road, then heads up Holeburn Road.

It's the widest zebra crossing I've ever seen, but why are the Belisha Beacons covered up?

Quite an awkward approach to the new toucan crossing alongside the Cathkin Relief Road.

Simple route to crossing on this side, but a mess on the other side (see #90314).

Getting from Sandy Road to NCN7 on Beith Street involves negotiating a maze of parked cars and kerbs.

A new toucan crossing on Beith Street for the new Lidl store, but needlessly difficult to get to from Anderson Street due to its position and all the clutter, including kerbs, in the way.

Railing and kerb present obstacles to anyone wanting to cycle to residential Barrowfield Street, although the far end of the turning head does have a dropped kerb.

Cycling exempted from road closure at High Blantyre Road crossing at Russell St, and route (74) heads along the footway to the right.

The end of Bellsfield Drive, open to pedestrians, closed to vehicles. With a little work could be open to bikes too.

Route (74) turns right, but the dropped kerb is on the left.

Traffic filtering at Post Gate. Ahead is the Palace Grounds retail park. But Castle St (crossing just beyond the bollards, see #38911) is No Vehicles and excludes cycling.

The town centre cycle route crosses Cadzow St on Campbell St.

An attempt to improve Campbell Street, but ruined by the bin storage.

Traffic filtering at Viewfield Avenue, and paths to either side, although the path southwards starts with a flight of steps.

No obstruction for pedestrians going to the nearside footway on Mary Rae Road, but I want to cycle to the footway on the far side of the road and link to the (future) shared-use footway to Raith Interchange.

NCN75 continuity hopelessly mismanaged at new housing development where footway car parking is endemic.

Modal filtering at Middleborough by means of a contraflow bus lane.

Road closure exempting cycles at Lancaster station.

It appears that the cycle route goes along the footway (which isn't signed as shared use) because no dropped kerbs or other arrangements have been made to get past the road closure in Waterside Street. The bollard has received stripy tape.

The same cycle route seen in #88255, with this interesting feature across the road.

Baltic St provides a low-traffic route right across Dalmarnock, but only some of the transitions between path and road are any good, such as here at Connal St.

Newly installed dropped kerbs for cycling through to Galloway St, although this couple headed for the footway to avoid the reversing car in the turning head.

The deadend section of Viewpoint Road could be connected up to Stobhill Road and Balgrayhill Road better for cycling.

A short section of shared-use footway leading to the toucan crossing across Great Western Road, but no dropped kerb, unlike #87530.

The end of Lochburn Road, blocked with railway sleepers, but with a gap for bikes and pedestrians. The guy on a bike, visible in the background, was lost and looking for the canal path (on the embankment to the right).

Cycle track through closed off road between Claremont St and Argyle St.

While not exactly designed for bikes, it shouldn't present too much of a problem for anyone joining the A77 shared-use cycleway/footway from Symington Road North.

New cycle-through in Springburn #permeability #glasgowcycling https://t.co/nFCKiO6g2G

A forlorn Fire Path in Hobart Street, with no exemption for cycling.

A simple road closure that allows cycles through.

Now that this dropped kerb forms part of a cycle route, it might be time to trim back the lower branches on these trees.

A newly opened up road closure next to Hampden Stadium.

Beautiful new filtered permeability on one of the streets I use as a shortcut - big improvement! @S4CGlasgow https://t.co/ChvFGNH15J

Path from Gooseholm Road reaches Glenfinnan Drive.

Filtered permeability of a sort, with shared-use path linking two sections of the housing development, while preventing through use by motor vehicles.

McPhater Street outside the Piping Centre is now blocked off with bollards.

Gap through Fire Path, but is it legal to cycle?

The Dantzic Street cycleway studs lead users to the carriageway, but for how long is it two-way? The base of the bollard that has been removed could be a trip hazard for pedestrians.

Closed off road leading down steep hill to Hendham Vale.

Steep section of road closed off to motor traffic with bollards at #72771 and #72773.

Bollards closing off old road at Hendham Vale, retaining cycle and walking access through to Kingsbridge Road.

New cycle parking outside West Street subway station.

A dropped kerb has been provided at the end of Carlton Place.

Filtered Permeablity With Car Parking Slalom

No physical impediment to cycling through the road closure over the bridge between Chestnut Street and Kippen Street, but the 'No Through Road' signs as in #71226 imply it isn't legal to do so.
