Lots of barriers on the southern side of the Queensway footbridge at Sudbury Crescent.

A ramped footbridge to cross Westwood Road and access Westwood Square shops.

The railway footbridge from Tennant Avenue to Eaglesham Road (and towards Hairmyres Hospital) has steps at one end, and they look like they need replacing, so let's have a ramp instead.

The steps on the southwest side of the Queensway footbridge have been shut due to deteriorating concrete, leaving only the steps to the southeast for users. Perhaps it's time this footbridge was replaced.

Not only has the footbridge got steps and no ramp, but it is also in the way of the Queensway shared-use footway.

The footbridge at the end of Dolphin Road has fairly steep ramps, but also has quite a bit of upstand on the kerbs on each side.

Footbridge over they Wye. This cyclist rode onto the ramp and then stopped here to dismount.

A decent quality bridge across the Westquarter Burn, and the path up to Polmont Road, both part of the HArTT cycle route.

A single-sided sign for the routes available across the Grange Burn, but a low kerb rather than a proper dropped kerb at the end of the path. I wouldn't want to bump the bike over this when it is loaded with shopping!

The Carnbroe foot and cycle bridge over the A8 dual carriageway. Why no direction sign? I know where it leads to, but that's not the point.

This had better be an important sign to be positioned so close to the cyclepath.

I'm not sure what the best way to Uddingston from here would be, but the path on the left leads as far as Strathclyde Business Park. You'd have to find your own way from there. If you were approaching from this direction, you'd have been ... [more]

A 'Cyclists Dismount' sign at a useful footbridge over the M80 motorway.

If you can't read the sign next to the bridge, and don't know which side of this barrier to pass, no worries - it's pointing the wrong way anyway! See also #97669 and #99654.

No option for taking a shortcut down the embankment. Pedestrians have to walk this unnecessary distance too!

So tell me again why there isn't a ramp from the far side of this bridge directly towards Strathclyde Country Park to the right?

The most indirect route possible has been chosen for the cycle route between Bothwell and Strathclyde Country Park through the Raith Interchange.

I did suggest at a meeting with Transport Scotland that they link the two bridges across the Raith Interchange roundabout with a bridge over the M74 motorway, creating a far more direct route. But they weren't having it. "Eyesore" or "distr ... [more]

The stepped footbridge across the Clydeside Expressway is no longer part of NCN7, but still hinders local journeys between Yorkhill and Bell's Bridge. The signpost is also unnecessarily obstructive for anyone going along the path.

Stepped footbridge over railway line. The nearest alternative is the A723.

A bit messy, but the footbridge across Turner Road from #88392 comes down here, and cycling across it is allowed.
