End of Railway Terrace - a sweet little road with no motor vehicle storage that provides a pedestrian and cycle route into Grantham from the railway station.
Footpath there is a gate and there is just about enough space to get a bike through. It would be awkward with a big bike or trailer though.

Grudging footpath crossing of the railway with cycling across not allowed. Instead of automatic barriers, we get heavy metal gates that easily slam back onto your heels and to add insult, the official signs call the location "Nowhere FPW"!
Even in the middle of winter the bridleway between Barton and Grantchester is well used by cyclists, as can be seen by the multitude of tyre tracks in the mud. This really could do with a proper, sealed surface.
