NCN63 appears to be on-road here - we weren't sure as there are some markings on the footway (behind the camera).

NCN63 Ivanhoe Trail uses the former Leicester and Swannington Railway line here.

Where the former railway line meets the road it is very unclear where to cycle next. The signs and shared use enticed us to cross here, but there was nothing more. It appears that you're expected to use the busy road.
