This gate is just big enough for a standard single bike, but not for tandems or trailers. As at #46310, the cycling symbol seems to have been removed.

The cycleable route swings right into Letchworth while a footpath continues by the railway.

View south along NCN12 Great North Way. Section here is a roughly surfaced bridleway, so not suitable for road bikes with fragile tyres. Further south it narrows to a field path width.
