I saw the bike that was here. Was probably worth about as much as the lock. My bike was parked next. Luckily, had better lock. Middle of the day, lots of people about.

Abandoned lock tags added by Cambridge City Council. To avoid the locks being cut and taken away the owner should remove the tags by the given date.

There are no cycle parking stands in the pedestrian precinct or nearby road, so this bike has ended up locked to a bin, and is a bit in the way! However, there's plenty of car parking.

When the main road near here is closed to a boat entering the lock, cyclists can push their bikes over this bridge to save waiting (in this case in the rain).
