Used by primary school children from outside the 30mph limit when cycling to school. There is ample width to upgrade this to a proper shared path

The cattle grids are a huge improvement over the old pinch stiles that used to prevent cattle from wandering off the commons. However, in a step backwards, the barriers have recently been fitted with these arms, jutting out into the path.
