It's not at all clear, but the National Trust has not reopened Wimpole Hall post-Covid19 - instead they are requiring prebooking online to visit the parkland. This ignores the fact that the estate is totally porous to walkers and cyclists.

This is no longer the main entrance for visitors to the National Trust's Wimpole estate - but I presume this will remain a right of way for walkers and cyclists

Bike parking at NT Shaw's Corner. Hedge on one side, wheelie bins and parked cars on the other. Very tight to get bikes in and out - situation not ideal.

Once again, a National Trust sign refers only to pedestrians and to vehicles - cyclists might want to come in for a picnic, or even as a short-cut to the National Byway.

Map of cycle routes on the National Trust's Lanhydrock estate - now an all-ability cycling hub.

Pedestrian access only - but this is the obvious route from Chirk station to Chirk Castle, rather than the detour forced on motor vehicles. Why have cyclists been forgotten by the National Trust?

All that space for cars, and no stands for bikes? The fence is all very well, but the National Trust might prefer stands on proper hardstanding.
