I think this concrete bridge has been designed to be as innocuous as possible given the slim lines and color scheme, so as not to spoil the view of the Cathedral from the river towpath.
Narrow, overgrown, muddy path with bad signposting and a barrier that would restrict non-standard cycles. Path is only a hundred metres or so but this isn’t clear on entry and forward visibility is very poor.

Cycle route rejoins carriageway (although there is no signage to indicate this, just a painted lane indicating to leave the carriageway in the other direction), having just crossed to this side of the road at #71201.
Cycle route crosses to the right-hand side of the road, only to go onto the carriageway under the viaduct. A complete nonsense!
Traffic island hopping cycle route that ends up joining the carriageway of the road on the right anyway. However, the road on the right is signed as 'No Entry except buses'.
Route signs for cycle route avoiding the main road, rather than providing for cycles on the main road. Route 70 is shown in brackets here, unlike #71197, which is meant to mean this isn't route 70 but leads there, in both directions.
Shared-use footway with tactiles, next to closed-off road. Can cyclists not be trusted to cycle safely on the road in this low-traffic environment?
Link across road from NCN14 to Morrisons. There are some dropped kerbs a short distance away, but an oppertunity has been missed for a decent well marked cycle junction
