Viaduct Way (NCN 23). The path narrows for some unknown reason as it leaves the viaduct. This is much too narrow for two way cycle traffic, especially when it is shared with pedestrians.
Hockley Viaduct (NCN 23). This is section is the widest on this cycle route but is still too narrow for bi-directional cycle traffic combined with pedestrians, dogs, wheelchairs etc.
During a break in the railway path, NCN 23 utilises this lane which has unmarked speed humps at intervals along it.
The cycle route continues past the gate along the concrete walkway. There is cycle hire from the hut on the left.
