Bike rental by the Llangollen Canal

Rather unattractive bike rental premises.

Access to the Llangollen Canal towpath (NCN route 85) at the wooden sign (it ought to be on the far side of the canal, if that hadn't been seized by developers).

Why is the Llangollen Canal towpath blocked here? Because the developer's mentality is that house owners would rather have 'privacy' than access to a leisure route.

There really are horse-drawn boats on this stretch of the Llangollen Canal.

The Llangollen Canal towpath has been improved in the last three years.

It's a beautiful day here beside the Horseshoe Falls where the River Dee feeds the Llangollen Canal. The cyclist is about to head back down the canal's towpath on ncr 85.
