Temporary (one hopes) end of the new Nine Wells path

There's a gap of a few metres betwen the end of the footway and the end of the new Nine Wells path which comes across the busy main road from the shared-use path.

The developers and I think council officers seriously thought there should be traffic lights here. A yellow box works just fine.

You might assume that a path this wide would be shared-use, but the total lack of dropped kerbs suggests not.

This is more or less the only visible cycle parking (not covered) at the NineWells development, but of course there are cars everywhere. NB most residents will work at Addenbrooke's and a direct link would give a two-minute walk to work.

How kind of the NineWells developers to label the cycle parking at the show suite. We'd never have guessed.
