Brueton Park, Solihull - paths
Location: , West Midlands (England, United Kingdom)
A look around Brueton Park in Solihull.
Beware of flooding in wet weather
Path washed out due to water flowing across the path from ground on the south side of the path.
Steps could be replaced by a ramp
Prone to flooding. Water gathers on the higher land on the west side of the path and flows onto the path. Needs a ditch to gather the water and pipe it under the path.

The main path (straight ahead) through Dawsholm Park to the pitches and Dalsholm Road is fine for cycling, but the woodlands paths off to the left are a bit rough and muddy, with steps on some of them.

Shared use paths either side of the this new road between the A133 and the University of Essex. The left side follows the trajectory of the old Boundary Road, while the right side leads to the new A133 crossing and onto Greenstead.
One of the reasons why cyclists shouldn't be too worried about trees being removed to create cycle paths is illustrated very well by this cycle path going through a wooded scene in the Netherlands.
Trees grow back.

The Airbus assembly in Toulouse seems to be well served with cycle paths. The cycle paths I saw there all had height restrictions.
