Road widened for the central island - rather defeating the whole point of these things which I think are presumably to regulate the speed.

This is a perfect example of a road-narrowing to slow down motor traffic that allows easy and safe passage for cycle users.

Half width cycle lane prevents cyclists from adopting a safe position through this narrow pinch point.

The brand new erm... Dunno. Along both sides of Little Glen Road, the council have painted bikes on the road and then put in road narrowing Bollards. The only thing I can see happening is a cyclist getting hit going round one of these.

Cars accelerate to overtake in a race to get to the pinch point first.
