The cycleway on the other sides of the road just ends suddenly for no apparent reason. I get the feeling it just gives up.

Middlebrough's transporter bridge in the distance, and about the best part of this very bitty staccato cycleway I saw on my brief wander away from the railway station.

Albert Bridge, Middlebrough, built by North Eastern Railway. I think this is on NCN 65, but there's nothing to suggest its also a cycle route here.
