Sandy forest path, difficult biking but passable.

There's no information on the Greensand Cycleway - how does it connect with the Sustrans NCN routes? Should it be on OpenCycleMap?

Right into the car park and then left.

NCN route 12 turns left after these barriers - too tight for trailers.

Lots of permeability and connectivity in this part of Sandy

NCN 51 and NCN12 leading towards the centre of Sandy (cars go a much longer way around).

For those who preferred to stay on the road rather than cross to the shared-use footway, a right-turn refuge has been provided here so there's no need to go around the roundabout.

Cyclists on NCN 51 should cross the road here to use the footway under the A1. It might be simpler just to use the road.

Mystifying cycle lane on this dead-end route - in fact NCN51 turns sharp right to follow an off-road route under the A1.

One cycle parking stand unuseable without shifting the Biffa Bin, the other fully occupied with starkly contrasting bikes!

The Lodge (RSPB headquarters) - plenty of staff car parking, but only a little cycle parking, tucked away at the rear, despite easy access from Sandy.
