Cars being parked on the footway of Garscube Road, rather than in the place indicated by a single yellow line on the road. Not helped by a waiting peak restrictions sign being next to the double yellow lines.

Histon Road cycleways built to the minimum width, and with no protection from close passing motor traffic. A short section of single-yellow will allow motor vehicles to park in this cycle lane.

It’s never possible to park legally on one side of Kingston Street - vehicles block either the pavement or the road - so these should be double yellow lines.

The road markings tell cyclists to turn right from the left-hand side of the lane - potentially disastrous.

Car parking in the Clarence Drive cycle lanes at rush-hour.

A car parked across the dropped kerb leading to the ramp up to Crooked Lane. For no obvious reason, this is only a single yellow line restriction, not double.

The parking prohibition on Saturdays means these wooden fences can easily be used for parking hundreds of bicycles - demonstrating real demand for cycle parking especially during events like the Big Weekend.
