Wet slippery paving slabs at the top of the ramp down to the canal path in Kirkintilloch. The chap seen in the distance slipped and fell to the ground, but was able to pick himself up and carry on.

No evidence that this footway is also a cycleway, but reasonably wide and able to handle the likely foot and cycle traffic. The dropped kerbs looked like recent installations.

A section of the path alongside the Clydeside Expressway has been resurfaced, replacing old broken paving slabs with asphalt.
