Narrow redesignated footway on expressway sliproad, with added fencing. When the fencing was installed, it blocked a dropped kerb at the toucan crossing ahead, but this had been resolved by the time I was there.

The pedestrian crossings form part of the original Glasgow to Paisley cycle route, opened by Cllr Charlie Gordon back in 1993. This section is part of one of the many 'Cyclists Dismount' sections, and it remains so to this day. Nowadays, … [more]

The upgraded M77 motorway sliproad crossing at Dumbreck Road. However, the footway beyond is still quite narrow, and the pop-up cycle lane seeks to address this.

A toucan crossing across the Clydeside Expressway sliproad, but not across Finnieston Street. Nothing to say any footway is legal for cycling. The toucan crossing is one of a chain of toucan crossings leading to the path to Minerva Street.

A footway next to the High Common Road/Strathaven Road sliproad. If this was upgraded to a cycleway, there's room to move the path away from the road to give better sightlines into the underpass.

A decrepit shared footway approaching the uncontrolled crossing across the High Common Road sliproad from Strathaven Road. Room for improvement.

Although there has been nothing to indicate that cycling is allowed on this path, the 'Cyclists Dismount' sign implies that it is allowed. The alternative is the quasi-motorway A723.

Uncontrolled crossing of A8 sliproad at the Showcase Cinema roundabout.
