Stepped ramp at Charing Cross, Glasgow See also #144003 which describes small asphalt ramps, which I did not notice.

Footbridge over the Clydeside Expressway. It's a stepped ramp, but there's some attempt to improve it with in-fill on part of the steps. I saw a cyclist ride down it carefully.

The stepped footbridge over the Forth & Clyde Canal at Westerton has had wheeling ramps added at one side.

Salford - Ordsall Ramp up to bridge has cycle wheel channel

The former NCN7 route at Pointhouse Road and the footbridge with steps over the Clydeside Expressway still form useful parts of the cycle network to differing degrees.

Glass-strewn shallow stepped ramp.

Steps over railway at Bruntstane Station on NCN route 1

Stupid stepped ramp bridge - a masterpiece of inaccessibility. This design makes it difficult for any wheeled users. There are steep steps at the other end too.

Dropped kerbs both sides on the underpass at Cowlairs Road, but stepped ramp up to the path alongside the Springburn Expressway.

Shallow steps on the path from Ashvale Crescent to Cowlairs Road, on its way to run alongside the Springburn Expressway. There is a steeper flight of steps at Ashvale Crescent, so the only way to get to here step-free is from Carleston … [more]

It's clear here what the transport priorities are when there are steps at one side of this footbridge.

Once up the steps from Clifford Street, the rest of the motorway footbridge is step-free.

Shallow steps leading to motorway footbridge at Clifford Street that could be replaced by a proper ramp. The same problem as the other access at #152263.

If you know where to look, there are now little asphalt ramps on each of the steps on the Charing Cross footbridge. But they could be widened and highlighted with paint. The dropped kerb is also obstructed by car parking. Combined with … [more]

This bridge could be part of the generally ok cycle routes in this area, but it needs a more gradual slope so the steps can be deleted. This is also a barrier to disabled travel.

The Whitehills cycle path and on the right the stepped ramp down to the Quarry Road underpass.

Stepped ramp up from the Quarry Road underpass, but a step-free ramp to the right to join the Whitehills cycle path near the bus stop.

The stepped footbridge across the Clydeside Expressway is no longer part of NCN7, but still hinders local journeys between Yorkhill and Bell's Bridge. The signpost is also unnecessarily obstructive for anyone going along the path.

Hideous steps and stepped ramps. Masterpieces of inaccessibility :-/ To really rub it in that no cycling sign is lit - but not the rest of the bridge! https://twitter.com/simon_nuttall/status/1101065625076727809

Footbridge horror at Penmaenmawr. A masterpiece of inaccessibility.

Although a wheeling ramp has been provided, there appears to be room for the steps up from the cycleway to be replaced by a ramp.

For some reason the footbridge only goes over some of the roads and ends in a flight of steps down to an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing across the last one. Lots of hassle for people with buggies and prams on the way to the shopping … [more]

Stepped ramp on footbridge over Forth & Clyde Canal at Westerton

This is the 'cycleway' parallel to the A3, squeezing past this bridge ramp next to some sharp edged barrier supports. This is yet another bridge which is virtually impossible to take wheeled items over - not just bikes, but wheelchairs, … [more]
