This barrier is like a stile. This makes this path inaccessible for cyclists but fine for walkers. Other routes are available but the terrain in Gill Wood is more suitable for MTBs.

Kissing gate is only just long enough for a bicycle, tricky to navigate, i have seen elderly struggle, other access nearest, very very narrow and long, almost impossible to get through, impossible for bikes with shopping, box/cargo bikes … [more]

New gates, to replace kissing gates, still very difficult to navigate, especially with shopping on board. 'impossible' with cargo bike/kiddie trailer.
