Pedestrians forced to divert 10s of metres into Lombard Street because of a cycleway. Seems rather over-fussy, but I've only been in the city less than an hour so what do I know!

The toucan crossing midway along North Canal Bank Street has been installed, but the tactile paving is still the incorrect corduroy (hazard) rather than the cycleway type. The top surface for both the cycleway and carriageway remains to be … [more]

I haven't noticed elsewhere this bollard treatment for cycle lane behind bus stop

The correct Cycleway tactile slabs have arrived in North Canal Bank Street and await fitting in place of the incorrect corduroy Hazard tactiles.

Continuous footway = good. Ridiculous kerb transition at the junction = dangerous. This will seriously hurt somebody turning across it.

The cycle crossings in this area are poorly maintained. This one doesn't drain properly, there's a big pile of mud which is a potential slip hazard for cyclists turning right.

Welcome distraction from politics this morning. This is a new piece of infrastructure. This is a pile of shit. https://t.co/H6b5izZ7od

An unmarked crossing in Northampton. Notice the flat bricks, presumably to help mobility scooter users.
