Hammet Street with big church at the end. This is a false one-way street, i.e. it is a two-way street but only cyclists are allowed to enter from the roundabout behind the camera.

NOTICE Goods, Cycles Etc Not to be placed Against this wall

This busy soft cobbled roundabout is in the middle of Taunton shopping precinct. I was pleased to see quite a few utility cyclists on my Friday afternoon visit to the town.

The highlight of my visit to Taunton.

Racks but petty notice with a not no cycling roundal taunts: 'No cycling in this area'.

Vivary Park - shared space permits cycling, at up to 5mph.

Lovely ramp passing the Museum of Somerset, but notice the 'Cyclist dismount' marking.

Petty signs insisting no cycling and no skateboarding on what looks like a route designed with cycling in mind. The graffiti over the sign says 'Skateboarding is not a crime'.

Ambiguous signage: the roundal suggests 'No cycling' but the text 'Cyclists please dismount' is a request. Based on #93386 I reckon this was designed as a cycle route, and so the signage should be along the lines of 'Cyclists give way to … [more]

This 'No motor vehicles' is a bit of a strange sight, but suggest that this route is for cycling (despite no cycling signs nearby see #93387).
