A sign for NCN66 pointing in a different direction to the blue Sustrans arrow sticker.

I don't think this sign is pointing the right way. The path could be better aligned with the road crossing.

A path connecting Whitemoss Recreation Ground to the cycle facilities at Whitemoss Roundabout.

A route sign that appears to have been twisted around, since it is facing the houses in Mount Cameron Drive North.

Signs for East Kilbride's cycle route 1 pointing both left and right at the Westwood Hill junction. Maybe the one across the junction is for the right turn into Newlands Road and has got twisted around.

The start of the West Thomson Street cycle lane, opposite Clydebank High School.

A sign for the Forth & Clyde Canal pointing the wrong way. The canal can be reached via Farm Road heading into the distance on the right.

One route sign has two poles and is pointing the right way, but one of the signs sharing lamppost is pointing the wrong way. Plus a rather messy path junction.

Route signs pointing in various directions, facing people coming from the Forth & Clyde Canal at Blairdardie. Wheelchair users appear to have been forgotten about in the signs pointing to the unnamed railway station (Drumchapel).

The sign in #100506 facing the wrong way and a sign for the westbound platform at an unnamed railway station. The direction to the eastbound platform is different and the sign for it is visible in the distance.

A damaged sign facing the wrong way.

Is Bowling over the bridge? No.

A sign for the Forth & Clyde Canal pointing the wrong way, and 'No Through Road' signs on the road that leads there, without 'except cycles' plates.

How can anyone trust signage like this? See further comments at #70290.

If you can't read the sign next to the bridge, and don't know which side of this barrier to pass, no worries - it's pointing the wrong way anyway! See also #97669 and #99654.

A route sign pointing in an ambiguous direction, and no clue as to how one should rejoin the carriageway. All of the crossings are for pedestrians only. The shared-use footway does continue around the corner to the left into Kirkshaws Road.

Two of these signs are pointing in the wrong direction. With non-logical routes involving multiple turns for destinations served by direct roads, it's important that signs can't be turned around. The signs on the M8 motorway in the backgrou ... [more]

A route sign for the spur from the Glasgow-Cumbernauld cycle route to the Colleges cycle route facing the wrong way. In the background, the anonymous ramp to the North Hanover Street shared footway (see also #98888).

A van parked on the cycle path in Cadzow Lane, and the twisted around sign from #89517.

The cycle route turns sharp right around the back of the bush to where the van is parked. The sign is facing the wrong way, and the footway markings are worn out. It's like they are not even trying to create a decent cycle route. The mod ... [more]

A large route sign on a single round pole, facing the wrong way.

A destination sign facing the wrong way in Stewart Avenue.

Sign for routes 1e and 1f pointing the wrong way. Signs for route 1 are only visible to those already on this route and not to those arriving on routes 1e and 1f. Route 1 is routed via the ramp between the bridge and Cumbernauld station, ... [more]

The point in Abronhill where routes 2 and 3 of the Cumbernauld Cycle Network meet. Except route 2 goes through the health centre car park, and route 2a goes to Palacerigg Country Park, not the station.

A lottery-funded waymarker post that appears to be facing the wrong way at path T-junction. (No route heads to the right as black arrow suggests).

The sign for route 3 should be facing people coming off the bridge over Wilderness Brae.

Route signs that have been twisted around so they are not facing on-coming users. Routes 1 and 1b part company here.

Welcome to Cumbernauld! Some of the route signs have been twisted round a bit, so it is not obvious which route they point to at the crossroads of paths. Routes 1a and 1b are signed from here, but do not reappear on the signs until they bra ... [more]

Route sign for Glasgow Airport facing the wrong way.

Route signs on the far side of the junction, not really visible on the approach when turning decision needs to be made on a main road. The sign for route 4 is only visible for someone coming from the Condorrat Ring Road, not from Mollins ... [more]

The reverse of #70290, in the centre of the Craiglinn Interchange roundabout.

A total mess! It appears that all 6 signs for this triangular junction at Craiglinn Interchange have been put on the one pole, at one corner of the junction, and the signs have been twisted around to point in random directions. (Reverse see ... [more]

Some signs twisted around pole (square poles could have been used to prevent this). Destinations could aid users in deciding between route numbers on a network which has pretty minimal publicity besides the signs themselves.

A cycle parking hoop that's been twisted around so any bike parked on it would obstruct footway and adjacent cycleway. Plus taxi drivers ignoring advance stop lines again.

Route sign opposite entrance to the Chris Hoy Cycle Way (see #44749) twisted round 45 degrees
