A 3-way junction in Callendar Woods. As this is meant to be on the HArTT cycle route, I'd expect some sort of route information. The post on the right is for a circular walking/jogging route around the woods from Callendar Park.

The path into the Kinneil Estate starts off narrow and twisty, but later widens out into more of a track.

A fairly smooth unbounded track through the forestry at Dunsyston, avoiding a busier road through Gartness on the way to Chapelhall. But could equally go on towards Salsburgh.

I don't think this section of the Southern Upland Way is intended for cycling.

Access between the path beyond Lochburn Road and the Forth & Clyde Canal towpath. Behind the camera, rough paths continue through the woods towards Vaila St.

Opening gate at entrance to Moredun Wood, Ellen's Glen and the Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park, which leads to a woodland trail that is useable on a bike, but you wouldn't come through here on the way back from the supermarket!
