Signs for East Kilbride's cycle route 1 pointing both left and right at the Westwood Hill junction. Maybe the one across the junction is for the right turn into Newlands Road and has got twisted around.

Rockhampton Avenue ends in a Fire Path with a rather messy gap between the kerb ridges. No cycle exemption from the 'No Entry' signs, and a route sign pointing right at the far side of the junction, when East Kilbride's cycle route 1 turns ... [more]

A sign for the Forth & Clyde Canal pointing the wrong way. The canal can be reached via Farm Road heading into the distance on the right.

The cycle lane marking at the end of Callendar Boulevard encourages cycling on the wrong side of the road, just like #101199 at the other end of the road.

Helix signage at Laurieston Road, but shows the HArTT cycle route turning right instead of left!

While the John Muir Way signs give correct direction information, the HArTT cycle route signs tell people to cycle over a continuous crash barrier and down a steep embankment. The signs haven't been twisted around - they are bolted together ... [more]

The cycle lane has been painted the wrong way around. Such incompetence!

A big sign for the roundabout at the end of Callendar Boulevard, but motorway regulations do not apply immediately on the road to the right. This sign is in effect a 'No Turn Right' sign for non-motorway traffic, and completely bogus.

A route sign at the end of the path through Hallglen, pointing across the main road to the paths at #101176. The road crossing is terrible and desperately needs upgrading. Due to the terrain, a footbridge may even be an easy enough solution ... [more]

Is Bowling over the bridge? No.

How can anyone trust signage like this? See further comments at #70290.

If you can't read the sign next to the bridge, and don't know which side of this barrier to pass, no worries - it's pointing the wrong way anyway! See also #97669 and #99654.

Two of these signs are pointing in the wrong direction. With non-logical routes involving multiple turns for destinations served by direct roads, it's important that signs can't be turned around. The signs on the M8 motorway in the backgrou ... [more]

A speed cushion installed the wrong way around, with the steep faces towards traffic and the shallow slopes towards the sides. This means a hazard for any cyclist not going around the side, but a smoother ride for drivers!

I suspect that the signage on Fison Road is wrong. I'm pretty sure cars should be allowed here.

Sign for routes 1e and 1f pointing the wrong way. Signs for route 1 are only visible to those already on this route and not to those arriving on routes 1e and 1f. Route 1 is routed via the ramp between the bridge and Cumbernauld station, ... [more]

Completely random signs at path junction. The path to the left goes to Wardpark Industrial Estate, not the town centre or Ravenswood, and is not part of the Cumbernauld Cycle Network. The path forking right does lead to Abronhill, but is ro ... [more]

A bogus sign for NCN75 (the connection on the right at the toucan crossing is a flight of steps, see #60171, the ramp is to the left), and a sign for the Polmadie Bridge diversion. I don't suppose they've considered cycling in this diversio ... [more]

Incorrect route sign at junction between Cumbernauld cycle routes 1e and 1f. 1e goes to Condorrat East to the right, 1f to Condorrat West (and Dalshannon) to the left.

Hopefully the yellow paint marks indicate that bollards are to be installed and the 'No Entry' signs taken down. The tactiles could be corrected and the electrical cabinet moved at the same time.

Incorrect tactiles used on Shields Road at the point where the cycle track ends onto a shared-use footway at the junction with St Andrew's Road, and some upstand on part of the dropped kerb.

A floating bus stop on Shields Road, with incorrect tactiles and a metal strip in place of the kerb that will be slippery when wet. Plus an unnecessary and annoying wiggle in the track beyond the bus stop.

The route signs for the turn from Hamilton Road into Main Street appear to be facing the wrong way. There is no sign for the left turn into Hamilton Road, and instead a sign facing cyclists coming from Rutherglen that is sending them back t ... [more]

Route 2 forks left here, not right.

Route signs all pointing 90 degrees away from the correct direction for each.

Sign wrongly identifies the southern part of the Strathkelvin Railway Path as being NCN75. It is proposed to make it NCN755 at some point.

Incorrect Sign This sign on the left is out of date. Although the railway path seems to continue a few yards NW, it is now cut off by a road and an impenetrable fence. If you are heading towards Kirkintilloch, you now need to divert off ... [more]

The yellow sign on the side of this Bunzl lorry screams: WARNING PEDESTRIANS KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE FROM THIS VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES Such messages betray a fundamentally broken chain of thought - of course it is the driver who is re ... [more]

Queen Edith's is behind you, so this sign must have become turned around.
