The Garscube Road cycle track starting to come together at its southern end.

The start of work on cycle lanes on Bilsland Drive. The lines go from here to Murano St/Shannon St so nothing much to see as yet. There were also some red paint marks at various points further east.

Construction work has started on a new bridge at Stockingfield canal junction, to remove the need to go down to Lochburn Road to cross the canal.

Claypits Nature Reserve bridge under construction over the Forth & Clyde Canal. There is a rough path to get around the side of the worksite.

New plaza being laid out in front to Doncaster station - I think I see a few cycle stands... but at the moment all cycle routes to the north are blocked.

On the plus side they haven't put a 'Cyclists Dismount' sign here, which is to be commended. On the downside, we have lots of signs on the pavement. We need a LTN/change in the law.

A temporary bus stop deployed while the Great Western Road cycle lane is built. This was the only temporary bus stop sign I saw in use.

A bus boarder under construction for the Great Western Road cycle lane. There is a temporary bus stop on the next corner.

Roadworks for the installation of the Great Western Road cycle lane. The marking for the start of the cycle lane appear to be unusually long. The marking for the cycle lane itself is another unusual choice.

Roadworks for the installation of the Great Western Road cycle lane. Here 'bus stop' markings have been removed, and the road marked out for the installation of a temporary bus boarder.

Signage for the roadworks for the installation of the Great Western Road cycle lane, so no cycle lane on the sliproad then?

Construction at Cambridge University Library - the sign at the other end only refers to pedestrians, not cyclists.

Road Closed for sinkhole repairs - but of course (on Sunday morning) pedestrians and cyclists are actually passing freely.

Road Closed (sign blown over) - I'm not sure this is part of the Histon Road roadworks.

Work on the Coton path. Shouldn't close the path and clear through the West Cambridge site. It's sewer works. Great job for a hot day!

The works have started on the Mill Road bridge bus gate.

Construction of the Garscube Road protected cycle lane has recommenced.

Good that they mentioned the cycle lane!

Future link to Darwin Green?

The A1307 (by the new A14) is not yet open here - and they've stationed a bloke in a van to stop cyclists after one almost got squashed the other week.

More lockdown roadworks around the corner on Market Square - but cyclists going straight ahead are supposed to stop too.

Manchester. Trafford Green Lane in Sale. Road works to close road outside Petrol Station. Actually works quite well as a modal filter . Cycles and pedestrians can get through and cars can access Petrol .

Again! roadworks at the Mill Road/Gwydir St junction.

Just a brief interruption in fact, where the temporary traffic lights are placed. There are a lot of road works under way during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Gas works on Newnham Road during the Covid-19 lockdown - virtually no motor traffic to be held up.

Lots of roadworks going on during the Covid-19 lockdown.

This section of the busway cycleway is still closed.

Apart from wheelchair users, I can't see anyone much taking this lengthy diversion.

I'm hoping there's a lovely new cycle route being built under there!

Long-term roadworks indicated by a sign fixed to a lighting column, and not a temporary sign dumped in the cycle lane!

'Cyclists Dismount to use Crossing'

The roadworks signage is at least more readable than the tiny permanent sign.

Cycle access at Maryland Drive maintained during roadworks.

Major utilities work is taking place at either end of Conon Avenue. Although the direct path to Drumchapel appeared to be closed, the footway of Conon Avenue was clear, leading to Annan Drive and its path to Drumchapel.

Cycle cut-through closed for construction work

Reasonably well signed roadworks on Station Road, Cambridge

The route across Oakington airfield - always closed in theory to most motor vehicles - has finally been made pedestrian/cyclist-only due to construction work.

The sign is unclear, but the bridleway is definitely blocked before the busway, due to Northstowe construction.

The cycle/pedestrian route under the A14 is open again (signs just refer to it as the footpath), although the guided busway is still closed.

Mill Road bridge may be open again, but the gas work continues. If the delivery van wasn't there bikes would only have to be wheeled a short distance.

Chisholm Trail route under construction between Newmarket Road and Ditton Meadows.

Ditton Meadows - this route is closed for construction of the bridge.

This route across the railway footbridge remains open, but is briefly closed to allow heavy plant and other construction vehicles to cross.

Photo taken thru the Heras fencing - the jetty surface and railing have been removed.

Jetty route now closed.

Last few days of this jetty.

Roadworks at the canal bridge on Boquhanran Road, with space left for cycling and walking. I wonder if the road network would miss this road being shut to motor vehicles permanently.

The A8 carriageway shut at the Barrangary Roundabout for various works. The roadworks on the Bishopton side were passable with care for pedestrians and cyclists.

The shared-use path seems to be closed because 'they' are worried about dropping something from the bridge. No such worries about road traffic.

The path parallel to Churchill Avenue is being widened, although not by much.

All signed up and nowhere to go (yet)

The road bridge across the A878 connecting the park next to the Erskine Bridge to Mount Pleasant Drive. The path around the northern part of this area is presently closed while works are being undertaken.

OSM/OCM show Judd St as closed to motor traffic at Euston Road, which is not (usually) the case - anyway it's good that they kept a cycle lane open during roadworks.

Cyclists Dismount? Why, when the traffic is semi-stationary (and you can zip past inside the cones anyway) ?

Chisholm Trail construction site.

It's hard to see how it can possibly take four weeks to resurface this cut-through.
