ThereÔÇÖs a wooden channel on the side of these steps to help wheel bikes from Coventry Road down to the Ashby Canal towpath.

The new path in Dawsholm Park (on the right) ends where it meets the old path for the second time. A direct asphalted route through the park between Dalsholm Road and Ilay Road has been reestablished.

Footbridge connecting Hobson's Brook path with the new development. It is possible to wheel a cycle through but mobility scooters would be a tight squeeze at the gate.

Good practice during the Covid-19 lockdown - a path has been opened up west of Skaters' Meadow to bypass the very narrow and busy cycle path.

This improved path is known locally as the cinder track.

Footbridge on Ditton Meadows. The gravel recently added here helps access a little.

Nice walkway through the park by B├ęziers station

The path here is being improved (this is not the final surface), but a new drainage system has stopped it from being permanently flooded. The route from Ringley Road to Nob End will, shortly, be completely rideable.

New compacted "centrak" surface makes this formerly impassible towpath now cycleable.

A new compacted surface and relaid setts makes this arm of the canal now easily cycleable.
