19163Photo #19163Bike parking outside a coffee shop in Tarporley.
2 Sheffield stands outside "The Old Fire Station" in Tarporley make for convenient cycle parking at a place where cyclists might wish to visit.
The food/drink served is ideal for cyclists stopping for refreshments.

19097Photo #19097Lancaster cycleway. Junction of NCN 69 and the cycleway access to/from Lancaster Station. The photo shows the cycleway from the station meeting the Millennium Bridge access (which is on the left in front of the cyclist).
The Bridge also forms the junction of NCN 6 & NCN 69. NCN 69 continues from the junction with the bridge into the distance (towards Caton).

19095Photo #19095The start of the Mersey crossing by NCN562 from Runcorn to Widnes heading towards Widnes and NCN62 (Trans Pennine Trail). The river crossing uses the footway alongside the Runcorn-Widnes Bridge. The bridge crossing is technically a 'pedestrian link'.Route sign:

19094Photo #19094Photo showing the location of cycle parking at Runcorn Central (Mainline) Station. The photo is taken from underneath the Expressway. (The booking office is to the right of the photo).
It is a wide shot to facilitate identification by way of the new multi-story car park. The lower right quarter of photo can be zoomed to better show the parking facility itself. There is apparently some sort of CCTV camera coverage of the bike parking.
NB. The design intention for the cycle parking units would seem to be for each wheel to be locked onto the unit's securing hoops. However, in order to secure the bike frame to the unit, a long chain would be necessary.

19003Photo #19003Photo taken from Frodsham Station showing the location of new (Sept 2009) cycle parking at Morrisons in Frodsham. The Sheffield stands are a bit too close to the supermarket wall; but credit to Morrisons for installing this cycle parking during the refurbishment of the premises (previously the Coop).Cycle parking:
