Direction sign indicating from Norton-Radstock Greenway towards Five Arches Greenway.
The Five Arches bridge which gives its name to the Greenway can be seen in the background.
The Norton Radstock Greenway is built on the trackbed on part of the former Frome-Bristol railway and the Five Arches Greenway on part of the former Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway which ran from Bath Green Park station to Bournemouth. |

Crap Cycle Path Design Part 99
Location: , Buckland Dinham (England, United Kingdom)
Why, oh why did they design a cattle grid on a cycle path where you have to steer your bike whilst on the wet slippery grids. Just goes to show what a waste of paper 'risk assessments' really are

NCN24 Sign at Great Elm
Location: , Great Elm (England, United Kingdom)
It only took about four years of patient negotiation with the local authority and the local populace by Sustrans but, at long last, one of the last unsigned junctions on the NCN24 route between Bath and Frome has a proper signpost. This rather nice metal post carries directions to local destinations as well.
