This signposted route has been closed. Behind the barrier is a great rubble pile from a demolished tower block, so evidently the route has been and will be closed for some time.

No alternative route is posted, but you can get to the bridge over Springburn Road by continuing north(ish) on Pinkston Road to the access road to the tower blocks, and going round the front of the right hand tower block.

Official Route 7 signs leading into a dead end. The signs have been there since long before the BBC building, when the real route was slightly to the left of this picture. Now that has been barricaded off, with no signs to show that the new route to Bell's Bridge leaves Pacific Drive further west, round the barricade. This is a fair reflection of Glasgow Council's commitment to cycling. ( The map here is wrong in detail too.)
